EABA’s is excited to announce that it will be hosting a Challenger Spring Camp! This is a free one day session open to all Challenger athletes with special needs and able-bodied Buddies to come out and try the program. The session is open to those who have already registered with EABA for the Spring season and for any new players or buddies who would like to try the program to see if it is right for them.

The camp session will be developed and run by EABA’s Challenger Head Coach and supported by EABA’s coaching and volunteer support. Challenger baseball focuses on an adaptive baseball program specifically designed to empower children, youth and adults living with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. While ensuring every athlete has the opportunity to play in a fun and safe environment the program is designed to teach its athletes the core life skills inherent to baseball, including: teamwork, communication, determination, resiliency, inclusion, support and courage. Challenger Baseball helps players learn to become more independent, build confidence and self-esteem, improve their communication skills, and set and achieve their own personal goals.
