What Does My Child Need For Equipment?

Rally Cap players must have a baseball helmet, glove, running shoes, and baseball pants, sweat or track pants. EABA will provide a player shirt and baseball caps.

Rookie players must have: a CSA approved baseball helmet, glove, running shoes or cleats and baseball or sweat pants. EABA will provide a player jersey (to be returned at the end of season), undershirt and baseball cap.

Mosquito, Peewee, Bantam & Midget 'A' players are required to have a CSA approved baseball helmet, glove, cleats, red belt, protective cup and grey baseball pants. Players may bring their own bats as long as they fall within the bat regulations specific to their age category. EABA will provide a player jersey (to be returned at the end of the season), as well as an undershirt and baseball cap for the player to keep.

‘AA’ players are required to have a CSA approved baseball helmet, glove, cleats, red belt, practice pants, protective cup and white game day baseball pants. Players may bring their own bats as long as they fall within the bat regulations for each age division. EABA will provide one player jersey (to be returned at the end of the season), a second jersey, an undershirt, and a baseball cap for the player to keep.

All players (with the exception of Rally Cap) MUST provide a $100.00 jersey deposit cheque at time of registration. Without receipt of a jersey deposit cheque, registration will be considered incomplete and players will not be eligible to begin the season.

Where aluminum bats are permitted, only approved BBCOR stamped aluminum bats in the Bantam and above categories will be permitted for use in 2019.

The following bat rules were adopted by Baseball Canada for 2017

USSSA 1.15 and USABB bats will be both approved for play under Baseball Canada rules for the 11U and under categories. This allows for all previous & current 2 1/4", 2 5/8" and 2 3/4" USSSA 1.15 certified bats to be used.
