Fall Ball

2024 Fall Ball Registration is Still Open for 18U.
Space is limited!

 

Fall Ball is a great option for players to continue with their development and enjoyment of baseball beyond the regular season. It is also a terrific option for players to help prepare for next season, whether they are experienced or new to the game. Fall Ball teams are comprised of players of all skill levels and experience.

Cost is $150 per player.


Fall Ball Divisions

  • 11U (2013-2015 birth years)
  • 13U (2011-2013 birth years)
  • 15U (2009-2011 birth years)
  • 18U (2006-2009 birth years)

Registration is open for players born from 2006-2015. Players who moving up a division for the 2025 season may choose to play up in Fall Ball to prepare for the next season. For example, if you're a second-year 9U player (born in 2015), you can play 11U. Or, if you're a second-year 13U player (2011), you can play 15U.

EABA reserves the right to move players up and down based on rosters and ensure the best fit for skill and maturity level.

There are up to 13 spots available on each team; however, waitlists will be available. If we have enough interest and support additional teams will be created
.

Fall Ball Structure:

  • Two games each Saturday throughout September
  • Players to arrive 1 hour prior to the game, ready to warm up
  • 1-2 practices per week – times to be determined at the start of the season
  • Season runs from late August to the end of September

 

General Info:

Parent involvement/ Volunteering positions:
Although there is no volunteer deposit/commitment, parents/guardians are expected to participate and contribute to their player's team by assisting with the following roles. 

  1. Head Coach
  2. Assistant Coaches
  3. Team Manager
  4. Parent Liaison
  5. Jersey Parent
  6. Score Keepers
  7. Pitch Counters
  8. Photo/Social Media Parent

 

Equipment/Uniform:

  • All players must have:
    - CSA approved baseball helmet
    - Glove
    - Cleats
    - Grey baseball pants (sweat or track pants are also acceptable)
    - Red belt
    - CSA approved protective cup
  • Bats are optional (Players may bring their own bats as long as they fall within the Baseball Alberta bat regulations)
  • EABA will provide a player jersey (to be returned at the end of the season), as well as a t-shirt and baseball cap for the player to keep.

 

Prior to the season all players will need to provide the following:

  • Registration payment
  • Uniform deposit ($150 postdated cheque for October 1, 2024)*
  • Birth certificate or Alberta Health Care Card (for first time players requiring proof of age)
