Come join EABA in our end of season wrap-up events!

As the Community season comes to an end, EABA would like to celebrate all of its players, coaches and volunteers, and build our baseball community. Due to conflicting play-off schedules this year, EABA will be hosting two wrap-up events – one focused on Grassroots teams (BlastBall, Rally Cap, and 9U, and another for 11U – 18U division teams. These will be fun-filled events and all members and their families are encouraged to come out and share in the festivities.

Saturday, June 21 – Grassroots Wrap-Up

BlastBall, Rally Cap and 9U teams.

  •  9U Skills Challenge – 10:30 am – 12:00 pm – Diamond #4
  • Rally Cap Evaluations -11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Diamonds #2 & #3
  • 12:00 – Fundraising Raffle, prizes, etc. announced

Please note that there will be limited opportunities after these events to complete your Association Volunteer requirement. Families who choose not to complete an Association Volunteer requirement will be charged the opt-out fee.

Tuesday, June 24 – EABA Community Wrap-up

All 11U, 12U Girls, 13U, 15U and 18U Community teams, as well as our Challenger players and buddies. AA and YEGA teams are welcome to come and join in the fun (Coaches, please confirm by email to vicepresident@eabaseball.ca by June 20th).

  • 15U Mixed Game – 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm – Diamond #5
  • 18U Mixed Game – 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm – Diamond #5

Players are to arrive  10 minutes ahead of their scheduled event.

Please sign up for this event to fulfill your Association Volunteer requirement

Player/Team Photos
Player photos will be available for pickup from the main table/tent at the Wrap-Up events.
An alternate pick-up time will be shared shortly for those unable to attend the wrap-up events.

Jersey Return
Please ensure that all 9U and Community team jerseys are returned to the coaches.
Coaches are required to collect ALL jerseys and return them as a set.
Collecting jerseys at the end of the wrap-up event is a great way to get most players’ jerseys.
Please note that families who do not return their jerseys will be charged a lost jersey fee of $150.

Equipment and Jersey Return
Coaches will be notified of equipment and jersey return within the next few days.
EABA will not be collecting equipment during or immediately after the wrap-up events.

Angels’ Food Bank Drive
Please feel free to bring a non-perishable food item and receive a ticket to win a draw for Angels Apparel. The more you bring, the more chances you have to win!

Angels Game Day at the Riverhawks – Friday, July 4th – Complementary Tickets   
EABA is grateful that we are once again participating in Angels Game Day at the Riverhawks on Friday, July 4th. All EABA players will receive a free youth voucher to the July 4th game against the Nanaimo Night Owls at 7:05 pm in the beautiful RE/MAX Field through their team at the wind-up event. A discount code will be provided shortly for family and friends to use to purchase tickets online and help support EABA. This has been a terrific event and is guaranteed fun for the family.

Event Parking
Please note that there will be other events happening at Mill Woods Sports Park throughout Saturday, June 21st, and that parking will be limited. Please give yourself additional time if you need to use auxiliary parking available around the park.
