EABA Sandlot Sessions Return this August

EABA will once again host our popular Sandlot Sessions this August. The Sandlot Sessions are based on drop-in shinny hockey and allow players scheduled times for structured gameplay and development. The Sandlot Sessions will provide players the opportunity to come together to play and build community while having support from EABA coaches. 

With a focus on fun, these sessions will incorporate age-appropriate skill development and instruction followed by baseball-focused gameplay. Games will be led by EABA coaches and will be organized based on the number of participants and their ages. All parent coaches, assistants and volunteers interested in participating are encouraged to come out.

• Tuesdays and Thursday evenings from August 4th to 27th 
• Wednesdays – All Girls Sandlot Sessions (female players only, please)
• Free, drop-in sessions
• 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Meet at Diamond #4 at Mill Woods Sports Park – 7008 23 Ave NW.
  • Players will be divided based on age and participation numbers
• Ages 7U -15U (born 2011-2019)
• Equipment needed: Glove, hat, pants, shoes, Jock/Jill
• No sign-up or registration is necessary, but we do ask for players to arrive on time

August 7th – Change in time from 6:00 – 6:30 pm. 

Events will not proceed if:

• AQHI is above 9 for Edmonton as per the Alberta Government AQHI website one hour before the listed start time
• Fields are closed as per the City of Edmonton Unstaffed Natural Grass Sports Fields Notification after 2:00 pm on the day of play
